Sweet baby boy, it hurts mom when you kick her in the lungs, mmmkay? You've got 77 more days in there (give or take). I know we can work together to make those days as comfortable as possible for both of us.

You are hilarious! I never had the lung issue -- I had a few weeks (maybe weeks 32-34 or so) where it felt like he was trying to crawl out by sticking his hand down in my cervix, which was very uncomfortable. I promise, he'll kick you in the lungs again once he's on the outside. But then you will have your rib cage to protect you.
