We'll get it bolted to the wall so BBC doesn't pull it down on himself, and that will be his home for all of his many books! Maybe we'll put a clock or CD player on there, too. In a perfect world, we'd sand and refinish both the bookshelf and the glider to a darker stain to make them at least a little more consistent with the crib (and the eventual dresser). The glider is really traditionally-styled, of course, and there's nothing to do about that (hey - it was free!) Sadly, I think refinishing will end up being way too low on the priority list to ever actually happen.
In other news, I've been having some bizarre dreams. Two in the last week have involved animals attacking me. One was a weird seal/alligator/snake hybrid animal that attacked me in the checkout line of a gourmet grocery store. The other was a lion that just walked into the house from the back yard (and no one bothered to stop him!) According to one pregnancy book, dreams about animal attacks represent a sense of vulnerability. The other pregnancy book says dreams about large animals indicate an awareness that the fetus is growing larger. Oh, so insightful. <-sarcasm
That's a pound a week, people! Good god.
